CB Garden Designs Ltd is led by Charlie Blackmore, a landscape architect, garden designer, and horticulturalist with over 10 years of industry experience in landscape horticulture and garden design. Inspired by a passion for plants from an early age, Charlie began his career with an apprenticeship at Regent's Royal Park before studying design and horticulture. He later completed a degree in landscape architecture at Writtle University College in Chelmsford, followed by a Master of Landscape Architecture.
Charlie has gained valuable experience working across both public and private sector projects. His career has included roles at the Royal Greenwich Park, where he worked as a Graduate Landscape Architect, and at AECOM, contributing to major infrastructure and landscape projects, including High Speed 2 (HS2), Middle Eastern developments, woodland schemes, and large-scale planting implementation. More recently, he worked with a multi-award-winning garden design practice in Sevenoaks, refining his expertise in combining landscaping with horticultural design to create cohesive, practical outdoor spaces.
Driven by a passion for designing meaningful gardens, Charlie established CB Garden Designs Ltd to offer a bespoke design and build service with quality at its core. Every project is personally designed and overseen by Charlie, ensuring careful attention to detail from the initial concept through to completion. Working alongside a trusted network of skilled landscaping specialists, he creates thoughtfully designed gardens that balance beauty, functionality, and long-term enjoyment.
